New chief nursing officer joins HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland
Pearland, Texas — Jenn Bowman has been named Chief Nursing Officer of HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland, effective November 3, 2025. Jenn brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in healthcare leadership, having most recently served as Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake.
Jenn Bowman’s career exemplifies a strong commitment to nursing leadership and the advancement of healthcare quality. As the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, she was responsible for nursing practice and operations for various departments including the emergency department, as well as multiple medical-surgical-telemetry and intermediate care units.

During Jenn’s time at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, she implemented a navigated care team model in the emergency department, which increased efficiency, safety, quality and an overall improvement in patient care. Jenn has mentored nursing leaders while also decreasing nursing turnover.
An HCA Healthcare veteran, Jenn has previously served as the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division, Vice President of Patient Experience, where she was responsible for leading 16 acute care hospitals and free-standing emergency rooms in their journey to providing compassionate connected care.
She joined HCA Healthcare in 2016 as the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division, Director Transfer Center and under her leadership converted to an all-clinical model to begin the quality of care that is provided by HCA when the initial call is made.
Prior to joining HCA Healthcare, Jenn worked for Ascension Via Christi in Wichita, Kansas for 10 years where she held various positions including; staff nurse in the emergency department, charge nurse/house supervisor and director of service experience.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas in May 2007.
