Urogynecology

We provide a range of treatments for women's pelvic issues that can result from certain medical conditions or childbirth, including urinary problems, difficulty with defecation and pelvic or sexual pain. Common pelvic floor disorders include pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, urinary and fecal incontinence, as well as chronic urinary tract infections. These conditions can be treated through medicine, gynecological surgery or physical therapy. Along with traditional treatments, many of our hospitals also offer less invasive care options, such as pelvic floor therapy, which can also help with pelvic pain that is myofascial, organ or nerve-related.

Within our network of care, The Woman's Hospital of Texas is a Center of Excellence for Continence Care in Women.
