Dr. Justus W. Thomas attended medical school and completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, in Nashville, Tennessee where he was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship. During this time he was active in organized medicine and participated in basic research in molecular physiology and biophysics as well as clinical research in ophthalmology.
