About Joshua Russell, MD
Biography
Dr. Joshua A. Russell is a Texas-born and raised board-certified orthopedic sports surgeon with Fondren Orthopedic Group. He developed a passion for orthopedic surgery during his time as a football letterman and Verizon scholar athlete at Texas A&M University. After graduating from medical school, he pursued a general surgery internship at the esteemed Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Russell then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at West Virginia University. To
