Biography
Dr. Don Schaffer was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1973 and completed his medical degree at the Baylor College of Medicine in 1976. In 1980, he finished his residency at Texas Children's Hospital before going into private practice.

About Bootin and Savrick Pediatric Associates
Having a baby in the Medical Center? Let the labor and delivery staff know and we will see your baby each day while you are there. We make rounds daily on newborns in all the Medical Center Hospitals.
Our providers are always available to provide medical advice. We strive to never turn sick kids away. We offer same-day appointments and have staff on call for 24-hour pediatric triage. From the moment they enter our office, we aim to put a smile back on your child's face.
Bootin and Savrick Pediatric Associates is an independently owned group pediatric practice headquartered in the Texas Medical Center, with additional offices in Pearland, Memorial City, and Kingwood. We provide personalized care to children with needs across the health care spectrum, from chronic and complex medical issues to more routine needs, such as vaccinations and physicals.
In summer 2001, after building successful private practices in Houston, Drs. Debbie Bootin and Patti Savrick founded Bootin and Savrick Pediatric Associates with the idea of fulfilling a dual mission — to provide high-quality medical care and maintain a service-oriented environment.
We take the service aspect of medicine seriously and strive to work hard to make your experience pleasant, personal and efficient.
