Outpatient therapy and rehabilitation

Outpatient therapy and rehabilitation allows you to overcome physical, neurological and cognitive challenges without hospitalization. We provide outpatient physical and occupational therapy services at North Cypress Sports Medicine and Rehab Center - Main Campus and North Cypress Sports Medicine and Rehab Center - Towne Lake. Our speech therapy services are provided on our hospital campus in the North Cypress Professional Building.

Cancer rehabilitation

As part of our oncology services, we offer physical therapy and rehabilitation programs to decrease pain, restore movement and optimize healing during or after cancer treatment. We provide coordinated and personalized rehabilitation for various types of cancer, including head and neck, breast and brain.

Additionally, we provide lymphedema management to address swelling from blocked lymph channels. Based on the latest in complex decongestive therapy, our program works to reduce swelling and other symptoms of lymphedema. We accomplish this by combining a variety of treatment methods, including manual lymph drainage, compression therapy and exercise.

Neurological rehabilitation

Stroke and other neurological diseases can significantly impact your ability to speak, move, swallow or perform daily activities. We use a combination of treatments to improve independence, reduce falls and maximize recovery, including supported gait therapy and computerized balance systems. We also perform advanced assessment tests to identify swallowing difficulties.
