HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is proud to announce a significant milestone for its pulmonary program: the completion of its 100th robotic-assisted bronchoscopy procedure.
As the first hospital in Northeast Houston to offer robotic-assisted bronchoscopy, HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood continues to expand access to advanced, minimally invasive lung care close to home for the community it serves.
Robotic-assisted bronchoscopy uses real-time 3D imaging and advanced navigation technology to help physicians evaluate and biopsy small or difficult-to-reach lung nodules with greater precision — often without the need for open surgery. The technology allows pulmonary specialists to reach areas deep within the lungs, helping patients receive answers sooner when further evaluation is needed.
“This milestone reflects the expertise and dedication of our pulmonary specialists and care teams, who are committed to bringing innovative care options to our community,” said John Corbeil Chief Executive Officer HCA Healthcare Kingwood . “By offering advanced technology like robotic-assisted bronchoscopy, we are helping improve access to earlier diagnosis and treatment for patients throughout Northeast Houston.”
The achievement underscores HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood’s continued investment in advanced pulmonary care and its commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.
