Houston, Texas — HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest recently announced Aki Mathieu as its new chief financial officer (CFO), effective June 1.
Aki brings a strong track record of financial leadership within HCA Healthcare, most recently serving as CFO of The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, where he led all financial operations and played a key role in strategic planning and major capital initiatives. Prior to that, he held progressive leadership roles including Associate CFO at Reston Hospital Center and Controller positions across multiple facilities. Aki is a certified public accountant with deep expertise in healthcare finance, budgeting and operational strategy.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. He is also a graduate of the HCA Executive Development Graduate Program.
