We accept all forms of government insurance from the U.S., Canada and other countries. We also accept Medicare, Medicaid, Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Uniformed Services (CHAMPUS), and workers compensation.

We respect the dignity and pride of each individual we serve. We want our patients to be informed of their rights, responsibilities, and have access to contacts for complaints and grievances.

ATM locations

ATMs are located in the main lobby next to the elevators and in the lobby of the Heart Hospital.

Internet access

Free wireless network access is available for patients and guests.

Interpretation services

Translation services are provided at no cost to the patient or the patient’s family, and includes written and sign language assistance.

Mail

Letters and packages for patients are delivered to their rooms.

Pastoral services

We are happy to call clergy from any denomination or religious affiliation to meet your needs during your stay. We also have two chapels, one on the first floor of the main hospital and the other on the third floor of the Heart Hospital.

Patient rooms

Each patient room has a telephone, TV and a safe for their valuables. Patients are encouraged to leave all valuables and personal property at home.

Security services

To provide a safe and healthy environment, HCA Houston Clear Lake has a zero-tolerance policy for violence. Security representatives are in the hospital 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Food and nutrition services

Cafeteria

Our cafeteria is located on the first floor, behind the lobby in the central tower. We offer a variety of hot entrees, fresh fruit, desserts, salad bar and grill. The cafeteria is open from 11:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Heart Tower Bistro

Our bistro is open 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Patient meals

Patient menu requests will be taken at the bedside. You can expect a host/hostess to visit you every afternoon, every day. If your physician has prescribed a special diet, some food items may not be allowed. For further assistance at mealtime or if you would like to speak with a dietitian, please call (346) 384-1130 or (346) 384-1131.

Should you have personal dietary requests (ex: Kosher, gluten-free, etc.) please notify your nurse immediately so all accommodations can be arranged to meet your needs.

Breakfast hours are 7:00am to 9:00am

Lunch hours are 11:00am to 1:00pm

Dinner hours are 4:00pm to 6:00pm

Starbucks

Starbucks is open from 5:00am to 9:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Subway

Subway is open from 8:00am to 9:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Vending machines

Vending machines for snacks and beverages are available 24 hours a day. They are located on the first floor near the cafeteria entrance, on the second floor of the Heart Hospital near the catheterization lab waiting area and on the second floor in the surgery waiting area.
