Online Registration

We know your time is valuable. That’s why we offer convenient online registration for services such as surgical procedures, mammograms, and diagnostic tests and treatments.

Participating insurance plans

We accept all forms of government insurance from the U.S., Canada and other countries. We also accept Medicare, Medicaid, Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Uniformed Services (CHAMPUS), and workers compensation.

Advance directives are legal documents that allow you to give directions for your future medical care. Advance directives help you protect your right to request or refuse care.

We respect the dignity and pride of each individual we serve. We want our patients to be informed of their rights, responsibilities, and have access to contacts for complaints and grievances.

HCA Houston Mainland, a campus of HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, is committed to providing the people of Texas City with compassionate care in a safe environment. Whether you are coming to our facility as a patient or visiting a loved one, our goal is to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible.

Patient information

ATM locations

For your convenience, an ATM is located on the first floor, outside the cafeteria and at the entrance to the medical office building.

Internet access

Free wireless network access is available for patients and visitors.

Interpretation services

Translation services are provided at no cost to the patient or the patient’s family. This includes written and sign language assistance.

Mail

Letters and packages for patients are delivered to their rooms. If mail is received after a patient is discharged, we will notify the patient.

Patient rooms

Patient rooms are equipped with a telephone, TV and safe for your valuables. Patients are encouraged to leave all valuables and personal property at home.

Security services

To provide a safe and healthy environment for our patients and their visitors, HCA Houston Mainland has a zero-tolerance policy for violence. Security representatives are in the hospital 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Bistro Cafe

The Bistro Café, located on the first floor of the main lobby, is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 10:00am.

Cafeteria

Our cafeteria is located on the first floor, past registration.

Monday through Sunday:

Breakfast hours: 7:00am to 9:00am

Lunch hours: 11:00am to 2:00pm

The cafeteria is closed for dinner.

Vending machines

Vending machines are located near the cafeteria dining room.

The DAISY Award is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care nurses provide every day. Patients, visitors, nurses, physicians and employees are invited to nominate an HCA Houston Mainland nurse deserving of this award.

The BEE Award

The BEE (Being Exceptional Every Day Award recognizes those colleagues whose work to enhance our patients’ experience is indispensable. These providers – who may be patient care techs, surgical techs, mental health techs, monitor techs, unit secretaries or others – support our clinical providers to ensure each patient receives the highest levels of medical care.
