Kingwood physical therapy and rehabilitation services
We provide inpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation services for when you need more intensive treatment and around-the-clock care following surgery, injury or illness.
Care we provide
In collaboration with our hospital's Comprehensive Stroke Center, accredited Chest Pain Center and designated Blue Distinction Center for knee and hip replacement, we also offer specialty rehabilitation programs that use a combination of therapies to support recovery from chronic health conditions. This includes cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease, joint replacement surgery and neurological disorders, such as stroke and brain injury.
During therapy, you receive one-on-one therapy sessions that range from 30 minutes to an hour per day. As part of our comprehensive services, you also have access to supportive care and resources, such as dietary assistance and pastoral support.
Referral is required for inpatient therapy and rehabilitation. We accept referrals from physicians, social workers, case managers and other healthcare providers. To refer a patient, healthcare providers may call (281) 348-8965.
