$60 million expansion project announced by HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland
Pearland, TX — HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland has announced the launch of a $60 million expansion project that will significantly enhance the hospital’s capacity and infrastructure to meet the growing needs of the community.
The expansion will double the size of the hospital, increasing patient rooms to provide more beds, expanding the emergency room to improve access and reduce wait times.

The proposed expansion will add:
- 44 additional inpatient beds
- Newly upgraded Operating Room
- Eight new emergency room treatment spaces
- Expanded EMS access, upgraded utilities, and additional support infrastructure.
- Modernized clinical spaces designed for efficiency and operational integration with existing units.
Construction is expected to begin late 2026. Pearland remains committed to providing world-class care while serving as the leading healthcare provider in the region.
